What is Project Amigo?

Project Amigo is a partnership between the Lake Union Conference in Michigan, USA, and the South Peru Union in Lima, Peru, designed to foster mutual learning, collaboration, and service. More than just a mission initiative, Project Amigo creates a bridge between cultures, connecting church leaders, students, and volunteers to share experiences, faith, and ministry approaches.
Through meaningful interactions and hands-on projects, we seek to learn from one another, grow together, and strengthen our global church family. Rooted in service, education, and partnership, Project Amigo is an opportunity for mutual transformation—because mission is not just about giving; it’s about receiving, understanding, and walking together in faith.
